Laptop Charger Light Goes Off When Plugged In

I plug the charger into the wall and the light is on when i plug the other end into the pc the light on the charger goes off i ve tried this with two different chargers and they both behave the same.

Laptop charger light goes off when plugged in. If the battery is integrated and does not have a latch to release it then leave the battery inside the laptop. Power on the laptop. Here i described how to find the faulty components and repair. And it is not charging my labtop.

Power off the laptop. I have an iveiw 2 in 1 labtop. Charger light goes off when i plug it into the laptop hi i bought a inspiron 15r n5010 last feburary and now i think the powesupply went out. When i pluge in the ac adapter into my labtop the led light goes off.

First clean the laptop motherboard. Please perform a bios update on. Disconnected ac adapter from the laptop. The green light on the adopter glows when i dont plug in the charger in to my laprop but as soon as i plug in the pin into my laptop it goes off so the battery is not getting charged i came to know that is might be due to a short circuit in the motherboard my doubt is will the laptop work on the charged battery or else the laptop is completely dead.

While dell laptop plugged in not charging primarily looks like a hardware issue many people have experienced the same issue with replacement of new hardware or hardware they know that works fine.
