Charger Cord Got Wet

If it just got wet wait atleast around two hours with it rapped in a dry towel and than make sure that the water is not visible.

Charger cord got wet. It will not hurt the charger to plug it in at that time. The laptop is a hp. And last night it happened. I unplugged my phone this morning and the end of my samsung galaxy s3 charger cord the part that foes into the phone fell into a cup of water.

I don t know how long the rain was getting in for but my laptop charger is wet. I guess i ll be leaving it for a couple of hours to dry itself out but in the mean time i d like to know what i should do in case that doesn t work. I ve given it a good wipe and all but it looks like it still won t charge. But it still doesn t work.

Should i send it in for repair or is there anything i could do myself. When unplugging i answered by a verified doctor.
