Charger Block Gets Hot

Charger block gets hot. That i am told is due to a bad capacitor and will fail soon. This heating up is pretty noticeable. We will now discuss how to fix a laptop charger that gets too hot. It s not so hot that i can t touch it but it s not too far from that and i don t think laptop chargers are supposed to get more than just warm.

If it is then the issue is most likely with the adapter itself. As in i don t want to pick it up hot. Is it normal for laptop charger to get hot. It s not just that the charger gets slightly warm it actually feels hot during the charging cycle.

When i tried to charge the phone again it would no longer charge no matter what charger cord block i used i even tried the using the computer. However if the adapter is quite hot enough that it could hurt your hand after touching it for a few seconds there could be a serious issue. This is a 2008 mac laptop.
