Acer Laptop Charger Keeps Disconnecting
Discussion my laptop charger keeps connecting and disconnecting.
Acer laptop charger keeps disconnecting. The keyboard light turn off and on and i hear the beeping sound. I also noticed that when it does that on itself the laptop disconnects from charging even when the ac adapter is plugged in. Charger keeps connecting and disconnecting automatically. The charging port gets very hot and the charger seems to disconnect and reconnect quickly sometimes.
Occasionally the problem can be fixed by disconnecting your laptop s battery and letting it be for some time and then connecting it again. I have my acer predator helios 300 for 1 year and 1month. Now aother problem rised last few weeks my laptop keeps disconecting and conecting the charger as i would disconnect and connect it. I ve tried resetting the battery changing charging ports uninstalling the drivers draining and charging it back again however the problem still persists.
My laptop is not chaging after 84 and it even shutting down at 30. But when i plug the charger back it keeps in blinking and will not charge. When i unplug the charger from the laptop the blinking lights will stop from blinking. I m not an acer employee.
3 months ago the first charger got damaged and i had to buy another one. First disable quick start in the power options and disconnect the notebook from the power outlet. The battery icon also changes from the plugged in symbol to just the battery level. Just here to help in the best way i can.
The procedure may be different and if you are not a tech guru make sure to skip this solution as you might damage your laptop s hardware. I ve got an acer aspire one netbook aoa 150 and there s obviously something wrong with it. Battery controller reset access the device manager and look for the acpi compatible control method battery driver and microsoft ac adapter and give it up. My laptop charger keeps connecting and disconnecting.
This only happens when the netbook is running and it doesn t seem to care what it s doing other than being on.
